Overview

Dispersive™ Virtualized Networks are virtualized routing platforms that:

 

  1. Divide session-layer IP traffic into smaller, non-duplicated, independent
    packet streams
  2. Send these packet streams pseudo-randomly down multiple independent paths
  3. Roll these independent paths dynamically based on:
    • Bandwidth availability
    • Line quality
    • Measured time delay on each independent packet stream
    • Other factors important to the customer
  4. Reassemble the data at the receiving client

 

This approach avoids congestion, defeats man-in-the-middle attacks and dynamically allocates resources to areas of demand. Dispersive™ Virtualized Networks can send data across any combination of available network connections – including fixed line POTS (using a modem), cable, wireless and satellite – individually or simultaneously without duplication. This allows network operators to efficiently leverage infrastructure to provide responsive Quality of Service (QoS) resource management and dynamically burstable bandwidth-on-demand.
