Nick Lantuh

Nick was the founder and president of NetWitness Corporation. There he raised funding, built the management team and ran day-to-day operations from the company’s inception in 2006 to its sale to EMC five years later. NetWitness was ranked #21 on the 2010 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies. Inc. also rated it the #1 fastest-growing software company.

 

Prior to founding NetWitness, Nick was vice president of the NetWitness Product Group, a division of ManTech International, where he was brought in to run day-to-day operations and formulate the buyout strategy for the NetWitness Group. Nick has more than 20 years of executive leadership at companies ranging from pre-revenue startups to Fortune 100s with a sole focus on bringing disruptive technologies to market. He previously ran worldwide and/or US sales efforts at companies such as Cisco and Ceridian, and has held similar leadership roles in multiple startups in the networking, network security, endpoint security, optical networking and wireless spaces. These startups culminated in five acquisitions and an IPO, with acquirers including Cisco, EMC, McAfee and Ceridian.

 

In 2010 and 2011, Nick was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for greater Washington.

 

In 2011, he also was an Association for Corporate Growth finalist for the National Capital Chapter in the category of “M&A deal over $100M.” He sits on numerous industry, corporate and nonprofit boards of directors and advisory boards.

 

Nick holds a BS from Cornell University, an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon Graduate School of Business, and has also completed the executive program for growing companies at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
