Bob has an extensive background in the wireless industry. He holds over 100 granted patents with numerous others pending in wireless, GPS, networking and location technology. Bob is also a subject matter expert for the Department of Defense on mobile phones and cyber warfare.

Prior to founding SDY Networks, Inc. in 2007, Bob was Founder/CTO of TeraHop Networks and Chairman/CTO of Intransit Networks, Inc. Bob also spent time at Nokia, where he led strategy and implementation of location-based services. Most notably, Bob led the development of the Nokia 9000 “Communicator” for the US market. Its record-setting 11-month development to market has not been repeated.

Prior to Nokia, Bob was with Motorola Paging Infrastructure where he developed paging software that was deployed in Singapore, Tokyo, China, United Kingdom and Italy. While at Harris Corporation (Electronic Warfare), Bob designed the audio conferencing chip for the International Space Station.

Bob has a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a master’s thesis involving DSP, neural networks and voice recognition.
