With tens of thousands of employees, this global leader in environmental and engineering consulting services continues to grow geographically. As it does, so do the firm’s anxieties about information privacy. A security breach could expose sensitive information like private communications or trade secrets.

 

Realizing its reliance on a multiprotocol label switching virtual private network (MPLS VPN) to protect information was problematic in remote areas and that administrating a growing network was greatly increasing operational costs, the corporation contacted SDY Technologies.

 

Proof-of-Concept Proves Conclusive

To demonstrate the value of a Dispersive™ Virtualized Network (Dispersive™ VN), we designed a facility-to-facility and remote client-to-facility closed environment. We then launched a proof-of-concept project in late 2014.

 

Tests proved that Dispersive™ VN securely transferred files, connected users into multiple subnetworks, maximized performance of client-to-client transfers, and improved the ability to view network statistics.

 

The project successfully demonstrated Dispersive™ VN would enhance the current and future Internet protocol (IP) network for this growing firm.
